Dominick Corona, 86, of Dunlevy, passed away Monday, March 13, 2017 in the Dunlevy Manor Personal Care.  He was born September 28, 1930 in Casentina, Providence of L’quila,  Italy, the son of the late Eusanio and Anna Digiovanni Corona.  He came to the US in 1946 at the age of 16, with his mother and sister, rejoining his father, who was a coal miner with Bethlehem Steel, at the start of the war.    Mr. Corona was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church Parish in Charleroi and the Charleroi Belgium Club.  He was a veteran serving in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.  Mr. Corona was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Allenport Plant where he was a Checker in the Seamless Tube Mill and also worked in the Strip Mill Annealing and Shipping Departments.  Surviving his wife of 61 years Celestina Lisi Corona; two sons Eddie Corona and wife Lynnette of Johnstown and Frank Corona and wife Gracie of Weirton, WV, his sister Anita Delegram of Ellsworth; two grandsons Lt. Luke Corona, U.S.A.F. and Jacob Corona, and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8p.m. in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi.  A mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday at noon in Mary, Mother of the Church, 7th and Washington Ave., Charleroi, celebrated by the Rev. Gerald Mikonis.  Entombment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Township, with full military rites.  The family requests in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the charity of your choice.  Online condolences may be sent the family at www.schrock-hogan.com.
