Donald A. Mathieu, 72 of Charleroi, passed away Friday, October 06, 2017 in the Monongahela Valley Hospital, Carroll Township.  He was born November 22, 1944 in North Charleroi, the son of the late Angeline and Maurice Mathieu.  Donald was a graduate of Monessen High School.  He was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church Parish in Charleroi.  Donald is survived by his wife Sharon Jones Mathieu, his daughter Nicole Mathieu Graul of Charleroi and Dean Graul; a brother Maurice Mathieu and wife Sylvia of Hershey; a sister-in-law Leona Cooper of Waynesburg a brother-in-law Frank Jones of North Carolina  and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to his parents Donald was preceded in death by his brother Rene Mathieu.  Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8p.m. in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi.  A mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday at 10a.m. in Mary, Mother of the Church, 7th & Washington Ave., Charleroi, celebrated by the Rev.
