Donald W. Waggoner, 71 of Charleroi, passed away Friday, June 30, 2017 in the New Dawn, Thorpe’s Personal Care Home in North Charleroi.  He was born January 10, 1946 in North Charleroi, the son of the late Ethel Rhodes and Wilbur Waggoner.  Don graduated from Charleroi High School in the class of 1965.  He was a veteran serving in the US Army during the Vietnam Era and was a member of the Charleroi American Legion Post 22.  Don is survived by his daughter Kristen Waggoner, a son Matt Waggoner of Beaver Falls; a sister Kathi Waggoner-Lunt and a nephew Adam Turkovich both of Charleroi; nieces Amanda Worthington and Pamela Lash-Worthington, and nephew Daniel Worthington.  In addition to his parents Don is preceded in death by his wife Phoebe Waggoner, a sister Barbara Waggoner and his nephew Justin Turkovich.  Friends will be received Monday from 4 to 5:45p.m. in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, followed by a funeral service at 6p.m.  Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.schrock-hogan.com.
