Donna Maria Carcella, 65 of Fallowfield Township, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 at her home.  She was born July 31, 1951 in Monongahela, the daughter of the late Bruno and Leonoin Lazzari Carcella.  Donna graduated from Monongahela High School in the class of 1968.  She graduated from Waynesburg College where she received her BSN and MSN degree in nursing and where she received an award for academic excellence.  Donna was employed 15 years at the Washington Hospital and a nursing instructor for 9 years at the Westmoreland County Community College.  She was a member of the Honor Society of Nursing.  Donna is survived by her lifelong partner Al Anderson of Fallowfield Township, her children Raquel Pesognelli Jeanmenne and husband Phillip of York and Anthony  Pesognelli of Charleroi; her sister Sharon Carcella Karnash and husband Ronald of Durham, N.C.;  two granddaughters Gabrielle and Rochelle Karnash; and a niece Samantha Karnash Carlson and husband Kurt;  There will be no public viewing.  Arrangements were entrusted to the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.schrock-hogan.com,
