Edward Revala, 90 of Charleroi, passed away Thursday January 19, 2017 in the Monongahela Valley Hospital, Carroll Twp.  He was born May 14, 1927 in Charleroi, the son of the late George and Susannah Bajak Revala.  Mr Revala was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Charleroi where he was the sexton of the church for several years.  He loved gardening.  He retired from Columbia Gas Co.  Mr. Revala is survived by his daughter Denise Browne and husband John of Manahawkin, N.J., Sister Mildred Stech of Charleroi; granddaughter Katy Mancini and husband Rob of New Gretna, N.J.; and nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents Mr. Revala is preceded in death by his wife Frances Guzzi Revala, his son Edward George Revala, his sister and three brothers.  Friends will be received Wednesday from 6 to 8p.m. in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11a.m. in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.schrock-hogan.com.
