Freda Malandro, 83 of California, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017 in the Washington Health Center.  She was born May 12, 1933 in Nitro, W.VA., the daughter of the late Clarence and Kathleen Absher Bowman.  Mrs. Malandro was a member of the Sons of Italy.  Surviving are her two sons Mark Malandro and wife Kathy of Speers Hill and David Malandro of Fallow-field Township; her daughter Toni Malandro of KY; two brothers Clarence Bowman and wife Linda of S.C. and Norman Bowman of Nitro, W.VA; one sister Betty Delvalle of IN; six grandchildren Michael Malandro, Steven Fuller, Anthony Malandro, Jennifer Neff, Fay Ornot and Danni Ann Malandro and  ten great grandchildren. In addition to her parents Mrs. Malandro is preceded in death by her husband Albert Malandro, two sons John and Fred Malandro,  two sister Bonnie and Mary and a great granddaughter Aizlynn Ornot.  Friends will be received Monday from 5 to 8p.m. in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi.  A blessing service will be held on Tuesday at 10:30a.m.  Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Township.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.schrock-hogan.
