George “Corky” E. Hotochin, 93 of North Charleroi, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016 in the Golden Living, Canonsburg.  He was born August 3, 1923 in North Charleroi, the son of the late George and Mary Puskard Hotochin.  Mr. Hotochin was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church Parish in Charleroi and the North Charleroi Slavic Citizen Club.  He retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Allenport Plant.  Mr. Hotochin is survived by his wife Nellie Nagy Hotochin, his son George T “Corko” Hotochin and his wife Fran of Fallowfield Twp.; two granddaughters Dana Corrin and her husband Brian of Fallowfield Twp., and Megan Swan and her husband Keith of Carroll Twp; two great grandson Jacob Corrin and Ethan Swan;  his sister Helen Andreskovich of Ligonier. Also surviving are nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Mr. Hotochin was preceded in death by two sister Ann Olexo, Mary Suchy and one brother John Hotochin.  A mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday at 1:00p.m. in Mary, Mother of the Church, 7th and Washington Ave., Charleroi, celebrated by the Rev. Gerald Mikonis.  Family and friends attending the funeral mass are being asked to go directly to the church.  Entombment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Twp.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.schrock-hogan.com.
