Helen Huzela, 94, of Dunlevy, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 in the Washington County Health Center.  She was born November 3, 1921 in Allenport, the daughter of the late Paul and Josephine Ruszel  Kurkowski.  Mrs. Huzela was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church Parish in Charleroi.  She is survived by her daughters Patricia Swalin Fraley and husband Stoney Fraley, Joan Zemencik and husband Tom, Laurie Trunzo and husband Greg; a brother Ed Kirk, grandson Branden Frankie and eight other grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; In addition to her parents Mrs. Huzela was preceded in death by her husband Emil Huzela, a daughter Marily Frankie and a grandson Thomas Emil Trunzo, two sisters Stella Altomari and Mary Eland and a brother John Kurkosky.  Friends and family will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9p.m. in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi.  A mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, September 27th  at 10a.m. in Mary, Mother of the Church, 7th and Washington Ave., Charleroi, celebrated by the Rev. Gerald Minkonis.  Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Twp.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.schrock-hogan.com.
