John T. Behrendt, 63 of Fallowfield Township, passed away peacefully at his home, Saturday, August 19, 2017 surrounded by his sons.  He was born December 28, 1953 in North Charleroi, the son of the late Nellie Gannini and William F. Behrendt.  John graduated from Charleroi High School in the class of 1971.  He was a member of the Victory Hill Gun Club.  John retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Allenport Plant.  He is survived by his three sons Jason Behrendt of FallowfieldTownship, John T. Behrendt, Jr. and wife Cathleen of Carroll Township and Jesse Behrendt of Fallowfield Township; two brothers William Behrendt and wife Barbara of FallowfieldTownship and David Behrendt and wife Bonnie of Culpepper, VA; five grandchildren Chad, Spencer,  Victoria, Allie and Lily Behrendt; In addition to his parents John was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years Vicki Burgoyne Behrendt.  Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9p.m. in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11a.m. in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in the Monongahela Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Monongahela.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.schrock-hogan.com.
