Joseph M. Phillips, 69 of Charleroi, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017, in Jefferson Hills Manor. He was born on October 1, 1947, the son of the late Joseph and Helen Phillips. Joe worked at Jack Rolleys Pontiac in Belle Vernon as a car-washer; he had also worked at Felicias in Monessen as a kitchenhand. Joe was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Parish on Knox Avenue in Monessen. He is survived by his step-sisters, Dot Green of Charleroi and Shirley Rayburn of West Virginia. Joe is preceded in death by his longtime companion Nancy Lipps and parents. A private service will be held at the family’s convenience.
