Kenneth D. Brandeburg, 64 of Charleroi, passed away Monday, Sept. 26, 2016 in the Jefferson Hills Manor, Pleasant Hills.  He was born Nov. 8, 1951 in North Charleroi, the son of the late Edward J. and Marjorie Pants Brandeburg.  Kenny graduated from Charleroi High School in the class of 1969 and Point Park University.  He retired from World Kitchen. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Charleroi, the Orchid Society of Southwestern PA., and Phipps Conservatory.  Ken was Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 1131 of Charleroi for nearly 40 years  where he helped 53 young men achieve the rank of Eagle Scout.  He was also a Vigil member of the Order of the Arrow, scouting's honor society. The Boy Scouts will conduct a service at 8 p.m. Thursday evening.  All Scouts are asked to be in full uniform.  Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9p.m. in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11a.m.  Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Carroll Twp.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the Charleroi Boy Scout Troop 1131, 823 Meadow Ave., Charleroi.
