Sylvia "Peggy" Parks

Peggy Parks, 92 of Fallowfield Township, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018 in Monongahela Valley Hospital, Carroll Township.  She was born April 23, 1925 in Bexley Heath, England, the daughter of the late Annie Mabel Cramer Gulston and Albert Gulston.  Peggy was a member of Gospel Alliance Church in Rostraver Township.  She is survived by her daughter Donna Thomas and husband Darrell of West College Corner, IN; two brothers Alan Gulston and wife Lilian and Sydney Gulston both from Kent, England; two granddaughters Valerie Eckels and husband Jason of Fallowfield Township and Daralee Hughes and husband Zach of Grove City, OH; five great-grandsons Trevor and Andrew Eckels, Bryce, Carter and Weston Hughes; In addition to her parents Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Rev. George Wayne Parks, two daughters Janet Parks and Darlene Tominello and her son Loren Parks.  She is also preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.  Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 8p.m. in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi.  Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home and interment will follow in Fells Church Cemetery, Rostraver Township.  In lieu of flowers the family requests contribution be made to the Autism Speaks, 1060 State Rd., Second Floor, Princeton, IN., 08540, or the Washington Area Animal Shelter, 1527 PA-136, Eighty Four, PA 15330.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.schrock-hogan.com.
