Carmen P. Barndollar, 85, of North Charleroi, passed away Friday, Feb 2, 2018 at Hallsworth House in Monessen. She was born May 6, 1932, in Clarksburg, W.Va., daughter of the late Pauline Barron and Jose Fernandez. Mrs. Barndollar graduated from Donora High School in the class of 1950. She was a Catholic by faith. She was a member of the Charleroi Belgium Club and the North Charleroi Slavic Citizens Club. Mrs. Barndollar was a longtime travel agent employed at the former Magic City Travel Agency in Charleroi and retired from the Belle Vernon West Penn AAA Travel Agency. Mrs. Barndollar is survived by her son, David Barndollar and wife Adele of Miami Fla.; three daughters, Diane Barndollar Anderson of New Tazewell, Tenn., Paula Barndollar of North Charleroi and Mary Valla and husband Joe of North Charleroi; her brother, Robert Fernandez and wife Louise of Austin, Texas; five grandchildren, David Henrickson and wife Ashley, Eric Barndollar and wife Emily, Kara Barndollar, Katelyn Valla and Emma Valla; and her great-grandson, Joseph Frioni. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Barndollar was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Barndollar; and her granddaughter, Sarah Valla and son-in-law Doug Anderson. A private memorial service will be held at a later time. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105-3678 in memory of Carmen Barndollar.
