Dorothy Matsko Stillitano

Dorothy Matsko Stillitano, 95 of Charleroi, beloved mother, passed away peacefully Friday, December 28, 2018 in Mon Valley Care Center, Carroll Township. Mrs. Stillitano, was born April 16, 1923 in Charleroi, the daughter of the late John and Anastasia Matsko. She was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church Parish in Charleroi. Mrs. Stillitano is survived by her son Thomas A. Stillitano, Jr., and wife Karen of Haymarket, VA.; daughters Dorothy Stillitano of Charleroi, Paula Maldovan and husband Mark of Uniontown and Joanne Bixler of Roanoke, VA; grandchildren Kurt Maldovan and wife Maribeth of Arlington, VA., and Amanda Maldovan of Uniontown; great grandchildren Avery and Addyson Maldovan of Uniontown and Oliver and Vivian Maldovan of Arlington, VA; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Mrs. Stillitano was preceded in death by her husband Thomas A. Stillitano, Sr., and an infant son Joseph Stillitano, her brothers Aleksy, Raymond and Stephen Matsko and sisters Catherine Matsko Vlainich, Anna Matsko and Anne Matsko Dury. Friends will be received Monday, December 31, 2018, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at 10 a.m. In Mary, Mother of the Church, 7th and Washington Ave., Charleroi.
