Janice Latchem, 70 of North Charleroi, died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 6th, 2018, in her home.  She was born July 28, 1947 in  St. Mary's  PA., a daughter of the late Marian Ronan and Oliver Gross.  Jan was a 1965 graduate of Cameron County High School.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and shopping.  On July 3rd 1980 she married Ira “Sam” Latchem, who survives.  Jan is also survived by her sister Maureen Gross of Emporium, and a brother Gary (Paula) Gross of Tonawanda, N.Y.  She was the loving mother of her four children, one son Matt (Jill) Yahnite of Monongahela,  three daughters Bridget (Walter) Huszar of Bay City, Mich, Kasi (Dave) Staffen of Monongahela and Samantha (Clinton) Shawley of Monessen;  seven grandchildren Jared and Travis Yahnite, Devin and Brayden Reich, Janelle and Kensi Staffen and Colton Shawley.  Jan will be forever missed and always remembered by all her family, friends  and countless loved ones.  There will be no public services.  The family requests memorial contributions be made to the John K.
