Jimmy “Chooch” Cocchiara, 59 of Charleroi, passed away December 7, 2017 in UPMC Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh.  He was born September 22, 1958 in Washington, Pa., the son of the late Margaret Zurek and Joseph Cocchiara.  Jimmy graduated from the Charleroi High School in the class of 1977.  He was a member of the Monessen Hungarian Club and the Chubs Pub Pool League in Donora.  He had a great love for Pittsburgh Sports.  Jimmy is survived by his daughters Ashley Cocchiara of Charleroi, Nichole Weaver and husband Zack of Charleroi and Angela Lang and husband Josh of Charleroi; five grandchildren Caroline, Carmen and Benjamin Lang, Carter Weaver, Jasper Marish and a new grandchildren due in January.  Also survived my nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received Sunday  from 2 to 5p.m. in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 226 Fallowfield  Ave., Charleroi.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.schrock-hogan.com.
