John P. Povtis, 66 of Charleroi, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at his home.  He was born June 11, 1951 in North Charleroi, the son of the late Mildred Pipik and John W. Brown.  John graduated from Monessen High School in the class of 1969.  He was a retired Auto Mechanic.  Surviving is has sister Darla Wince and husband Dennis of Monessen and a nephew Dennis M.
