Melva Marlene Pocky

Melva Marlene Pocky, 87 of Charleroi, passed away peacefully, Friday February 1, 2019.  She was born August 10, 1931 in Speers, the daughter of the late Albert and Sara Cady Pocky.  Melva graduataed from Monessen High School in the class of 1949.  She was a retired secretary with a Law office in Washington, D.C.  Melva was a devoted Christian and very active in her church life.  She always found the beauty in everybody.  Melva was a world traveler.  She is survived by her loving sister Carole Pocky Chacko and her husband James “Mouse” Chacko of Charleroi.  Also survived by nieces and nephews, Troy Pocky and Mark Pocky and wife Cathy, Marisa Lee and husband Kevin, Jamel Chacko, Jamie Brodine and husband Jon, Mindy Ortolona and husband Jake and Dana Gallik; and several great nieces and nephews and a great-great niece.  Also survived by a special friend Pastor Patricia Mollick.  In addition to her parents Melva was preceded in death by her brother Albert M.
