William (Billy) P. Yagnich a lifelong resident of the Mon-Valley, passed away suddenly on September 29th, 2017 at his home. Billy was born in San Diego, California on April 19th, 1963. He graduated from Charleroi Area High School. In high school Billy was a stand-out wrestler. He worked at California University of PA for the past 27 years, where he worked is way up to the position of Paint Foreman. For many years, Billy was one of the better Wrestling Officials that came out of Washington County. For a time, he was also a youth baseball coach. He enjoyed all sports, was an avid fisherman, loved music and so loved his dog Quinn. During his life, he was known for his jokes, his voracious laugh and his dedication to helping others. He had many friends and acquaintances and was truly loved by many. Billy is survived by his son Zackary (Zack) Yagnich, brothers Michael and Phillip (Boogie) and sisters Karen, Margaret (Cricket) and his dear friend Pam Moffit. He is preceded in death by his parents Phillip and Edith (Ulens) Yagnich and his grandparents Peter and Catherine Ulens and Phillip and Margaret Yagnich. Friends will be received Tuesday from 4 to 8p.m. in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi  A funeral service will follow following the visitation.
