Yvonne M. Young

On Thursday July 18th, 2019, Yvonne Young (87), a loyal and faithful Christian, was called home to the Lord following a courageous battle with cancer. She was resting peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Yvonne was the most loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother (GiGi). She devoted much of her time babysitting and worked as a school guard for many years. Yvonne was also an avid penguins fan for many years. Yvonne was born on May 10, 1932 in North Charleroi, the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Ray) Teulle. Yvonne was a long time member of the Grace United Methodist Church, located in Coal Center. She is survived by her three children, son Terry Lee (Monica) Young of Charleroi, daughters Cheryl Marie Matyas and fiancé Dave Weaver of Fallowfield Twp. and Pamela Lynne (Bill “Swacker”) Marsich of Charleroi. Seven Grandchildren: Jenna (Manny) Diaz, Michael Matyas and fiancé Alicia Dible, Ryan Marsich and Alyssa, Dr. Michelle (Dan) Harvison, Kimberly (Seth) Vargo, Adam (Lyndsey) Young, Chad (Jessica) Young. Seven Great-Grandchildren: Isaac and Elijah Young, Caroline and Charlotte Harvison, Presley Vargo, Olivia Diaz and Jameson David Young. Brother-in-law Jack young of Shepherdstown W.V. and her special nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Yvonne is preceded in death by her husband Bob L. Young and two brothers Charles and Fernand Teulle.
