Alene Mary Cardinale Valentine

Alene Mary Cardinale Valentine, 84, of Charleroi, passed away peacefully on April 11th, 2021, with her family by her side, at the McMurray Hills Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in North Charleroi, on December 25th, 1936, Alene was the daughter of the late Cyril and Virginia (Murray) Cardinale.

The owner and operator of Mon Valley Services for several years, Alene was a member of the Speers United Methodist Church, a member of the Gold Agers and was an active card player, playing in numerous card clubs. She enjoyed spending her summer days at the Pine Cove Beach Club.

Alene is survived by her son; Robert C. (Sherrie) Valentine of Washington, son Kevin Valentine of Donora, daughter Virginia (Peter) Katinsky of Fallowfield Twp. Grandchildren; Robert (Nicole) Valentine, David Valentine, Ricci (Susie) Rich, Brandon (Alexis Livingstone) Katinsky. Great-grandchildren, Mallory Valentine, Blakely and London Rich.

In addition to her parents, Alene is preceded in death by her husband Robert C. Valentine. The family wishes to thank a special friend, Sharon Gittings, for her assistance in caring for their Mother.
