Alice Crilley Caramela

Alice Crilley Caramela, 81, of Speers Hill, passed away peacefully at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital on February 8th, 2024, with her family by her side.

Born in North Charleroi, on December 6th, 1942, Alice was the daughter of the late Vernon and Mildred (Henderson) Crilley.

She was the owner and operator of “Alice Caramela Interiors” and worked for over 40 years as a seamstress in the mon-valley area. Alice loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and her friends from highschool.

Surviving to cherish Alice’s memory; her daughter, Shawna (Lawrence) Vezzetti, son Theodore (Lisa) Caramela, and son Samuel Caramela. Her three grandchildren; Lauren (Rob) Mawhinney, L. Paul (Heather) Vezzetti and Kaitlyn Caramela. Her great-grandson Camden Mawhinney and her brother Richard (Beatrice) Crilley.

Alice is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Mildred Crilley.

Friends and family will be received from 5:00 to 8:00pm on Sunday, February 11th, 2024 at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am inside the funeral home on Monday February 12th, 2024. Interment will follow at West Newton Cemetery.
