Alvin R. Lowther

Alvin R. Lowther, 96, of Charleroi passed away peacefully at Dunlevy Manor on August 3, 2019. Alvin was born in Hopwood on July 31, 1923, the son of the late Edward & Alice (Shuman) Lowther.

Alvin is survived by his Son Albert and daughter-in-law Janet Lowther of Huntsville AL, and his daughter Joan Santini of North Charleroi. Six Grandchildren; Traci Hyatt, Shannon Hostovich, Wayne Santini, Senia Lowther, Alan Lowther and Anthony Lowther. Eleven great-grandchildren; Christopher Hasten, Dakota Bonner, Patrick Lowther, Kallie Lowther, Jaxon Lowther, Dane Hostovich, Zachary Hostovich, Jeremiah Hyatt, Dominik Santini, Hunter Hyatt and Rylee Santini. Three great-great-grandchildren, Chloe Hasten, Chandler Hasten and Wyatt Hostovich.

In addition to his parents Alvin is preceded in death by his wife Johanne Keiper Lowther.  

A memorial service will be held on August 17 at 1:00pm at the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi with Rev Mark Woomer officiating. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.schrock-hogan.com.
