Arta S. Fox

Arta S. Fox, 81, of Fallowfield Township, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2024. Arta was born on July 8, 1942 to the late Howard and Isabel (Neil) Smith.

Arta was a school teacher for 33 years at Bentworth School District, she was a past member and former president for the Ladies Golf Association for the Mon Valley Country Club and the Nemacolin Country Club, and a former president of the Scenery Hill BPW (Business & Professional Women’s) Club. Arta was also the president of the Ladies Bowling League at Bentleyville Lanes. Arta loved spending time with her family and friends and will be sadly missed by many.

Surviving to cherish Arta’s memory will be her husband of 49 years Albert Fox.

In addition to her parents, Arta is preceded in death by her sister Jan Ray Newman of Florida.
