Dennis "Charlie" Wayne Roberts

Dennis “Charlie” Wayne Roberts, 69, of Elco, passed away on April 3rd, 2026, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital. Charlie was born on June 8th, 1956 in North Charleroi to the late Jack and Rose (Swarrow) Roberts.

Charlie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ. Charlie owned and operated Charles Roberts Auto Repair & Sales for over 40 years. Charlie loved working on cars, especially his personal vehicles and was avid NASCAR fan. Charlie will be remembered as a loving and caring husband and father to his family whom he cherished the most.

Surviving to cherish Charlie’s memory; his beloved wife of 50 years Christie Roberts, his son Shawn Ackinclose and Charles Roberts Sr. His grandchildren Charles Roberts Jr., Leah Ackinclose and Hannah Ackinclose. His sisters Brenda Roberts and Jacqueline Roberts.

In addition to his parents, Charlie is preceded in death by his brother David Roberts.

Friends and family will be received for a Celebration of Life from 2:00 to 4:00pm with a funeral service beginning at 4:00pm on Saturday, April 11th, 2026 at the HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022.
