Donald "Don" Addis Nucci

Donald “Don" Addis Nucci, 80, of Stockdale, passed away peacefully on October 18th, 2025. Don was born on February 16th, 1945, in North Charleroi, the son of the late George & Mildred (Addis) Nucci.

A graduate of Charleroi High School class of 1963, Don was an electrician in Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Allenport Works for over 42 years until his retirement. He was a member of the F. & A. Masonic Lodge for many years. Don was an active member of the Roscoe United Methodist Church for many years. He helped in various ways, from attending church activities to assisting with daily tasks, such as general maintenance to turning on the heat before church services.

Don was an avid train collector and was very proud of the collection he built over the years. He enjoyed fishing, attending car shows and loved rooting for every Pittsburgh sports team, especially the Steelers.  Don was a loving father, grandfather and will be missed by many.

Surviving to cherish Don’s memory; his son David Nucci and his daughter Gianna (B.J.) McFaddin. His two grandchildren; Brent (fiancé Sarah) Nucci and Olivia McFaddin. His two brothers, George (Karen) Nucci and Ronald (Eileen) Nucci and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents Don is preceded in death by his wife Carole A. Nucci and his sister Donna Lee Nucci.

Friends and family will be received from 2:00 to 4:00p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00p.m on Tuesday, October 21st, 2025, at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday October 22nd, 2025, in the funeral home. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
