Dorothy "Dottie" Blanda

Dorothy “Dottie” Mae Blanda, 91, of Charleroi, passed away peacefully at Residence at Hilltop on January 28th, 2025. Dottie was born on June 22nd, 1931 to the late Lawrence and Marie (Berrish) Baehr.

Catholic by faith; Dottie was a member of Saint Andrew the Apostle Parish – Charleroi Site where she sang in the choir for many years. Dottie was an avid seamstress and loved painting. She was a loving mother and grandmother to her family, who will miss her dearly.

Surviving to cherish Dottie’s memory; her sons Gregory (Renee) Blanda of Santa Clara CA and Douglas Blanda of Whitehall PA, her daughter Marcia Fecsen of New Kensington PA. Dottie’s grandchildren; Mitchell Blanda, Stacy Fecsen, and John Fecsen and her sisters Chris Browning and Lou Ann Lincoln.

In addition to her parents, Dottie is preceded in death by her beloved husband Joseph Blanda, her sisters Marie Condon and Jean Booker and her grandson Joseph Fecsen.

Friends and family are welcomed to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday February 1st, 2025 at 11:00am at Saint Andrew the Apostle Parish – Charleroi Site, 624 Washington Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022.
