Gregory Karl Gerdish

Gregory Karl Gerdish, 73, of Allenport, passed away peacefully on April 3rd, 2023, in the Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. Born in Charleroi on September 16th, 1949, Greg was the son of the late Clem & Dolly (Magruda) Gerdish.

Greg loved listening to classic rock and was an avid car enthusiast. He owned his own garage, Gerdish Auto Repair for many years in Roscoe until his retirement and enjoyed working on his own cars during his retirement years.

Surviving to cherish Greg’s memory; his wife Ginger Gerdish; two sons Dillon Gerdish and Chad (Laura) Gerdish. His brother Gerald Gerdish, brother-in-law Alan (Teri) Essey, brother-in-law Wade (Tracy) Francis, sister-in-law Kitty Gerdish and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Greg is preceded in death by his brother Alan and sister Geraldine Gerdish.

Friends and family will be received on Wednesday April 5th, 2023, from 3:00 to 6:00pm in the Hogan-Melenyzer Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. 226 Fallowfield Avenue Charleroi Pa 15022. A prayer service will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday at 5:30pm. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.hogan-melenyzer.com.
