Joanne Barber

Joanne Barber 77, of Twilight Hollow, passed away peacefully at home on August 1st, 2019. She was born on August 22, 1941, the daughter of the late Floyd and Alberta (Traeger) Patton.

Joanne graduated from McKeesport High school class of 1959 and continued her education at Duquesne University where she earned her bachelor of science in nursing (BSN). After many years Joanne retired from the Monongahela Valley Hospital. She was a member of the Penn State Alumni Association-Washington County Chapter, Mon-Valley Nurse Association and the Speers Street Gang.

Joanne is survived by her husband Keith Barber. Sons; Keith (Kim) Barber of Belle Vernon, Lynn (Donna) Barber of Killdevil Hills, N.C and her daughter Toni (Tom) Hartman of Fayette City. Two brothers, Robert (Sue) Patton of Clarion and Thomas (Pam) Patton of St. Louis, MO. And her five grandchildren; Jacob, Jesse, Jordan, Jared Hartman and Brandon Barber.

Friends will be received on Monday August 5th from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 pm. in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 12 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev Mark Woomer officiating.  Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.schrock-hogan.com
