Jorge Ann Moffit

Jorge Ann Moffit, 80, of Charleroi, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2024 in the Mon Valley Care Center. Born in North Charleroi on April 8th, 1944, Jorge Ann was the daughter of the late George and Martha (Mariani) Sargent.

Jorge Ann was a graduate of Charleroi High School class of 1962 and worked as a teller at First National Bank of Charleroi for many years. Following her time at the bank Ms. Moffit worked as secretary in the Charleroi Elementary center for over ten years until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and was a member of the golden agers. She loved going to the casino and playing in numerous card clubs throughout the years.

Surviving to cherish Jorge Ann’s memory; her son Ron (Cathy) Moffit, granddaughters Bethany Carcella and Abby (Paul) Peters. Great-granddaughter Tenley Carcella, cousins; Blanche McManus, and Michelle (Henry) Thomson.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Shirley Johnston.
