Joseph “Joe” Davidson, 79, of Charleroi, passed away peacefully on July 27th, 2025. Joe was born in North Charleroi on April 19th, 1946 to the late Sara Davidson.
Following High School, Joe served honorably in the United States Navy, in which he received the National Defense Service Metal. Joe was a member of the American Legion – Post 22 in Charleroi, and a member of the North Charleroi French Club. Anyone who knew Joe would say he had a funny and sarcastic personality that would light up a room and was always lending a helping hand at the same time. “Pappy Joe” attended every sporting event for his grandchildren and was a devoted husband, brother and son to his family, of whom will miss him dearly.
Surviving to cherish Joe’s memory; his daughter Ann (Timothy) Woytovich, his son Addio (Brigitte) Fiordigigli, his grandchildren Cullin, AJ Jr., Nico, and Arianna. His sister Jackie Lang, brother Johnny Lang, brother-in-law Randall Davis, niece Jill (Danny) Lees-Vorhes, nephews Zack Lees and Joshua (Angela) Lang, niece Patty Presock and great-niece Sarahgrace Lees-Vorhes, great-nephew Mason Vorhes, and other numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
In addition to his mother, Joe is preceded in death by his beloved wife Christine Fiordigigli, his brother Dennis Lang, and sisters Tina Baker and Deborah Prentice.
