Judith "Judy" L. King Bruce

Judith “Judy” L. King Bruce, 85, of Monessen, passed away unexpectedly at Penn Highlands Mon Valley on January 10th, 2025. Judy was born on July 12th, 1939 in Belle Vernon and was the daughter of the late Albert and Agnes (Allen) Gaggini.

Catholic by faith; Judy was a member of Saint Sebastian Parish in Belle Vernon. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels, was a long-time volunteer of the Mon Valley Hospital Auxiliary, and enjoyed playing cards in numerous clubs. Judy will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family who will miss her dearly.

Surviving to cherish Judy’s memory; her son David (Marla) King of Fallowfield twp., her daughter Denise King Pickup of Delmont Pa, her daughter Paula (Ken) Heilman of Monessen, and her son Christopher (Marie) King of Rostraver twp. Judy’s grandchildren: Victoria King, Brady King, Jacob Pickup, Katie Pickup, Haleigh Heilman, Kayla Heilman, Zachary (Amanda) King, Bailey (Kendalynn) King, and Emily King. Judy’s great-grandchildren, Kaylee King, Drake King, and Benjamin King, and her nephew Joe Kemenovich.

In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her loving husband Richard King, her second husband Edward Bruce and her sister Joni Kemenovich.

Friends and family will be received from 3:00 to 8:00pm on Wednesday, January 15th, 2025 at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022. Blessing Service will be held inside the funeral home at 11:00am on Thursday, January 16th, 2025 with internment following at Charleroi Cemetery.
