Lewis John Guidette

Lewis (Butch) John Guidette, 80, of Charleroi, passed away peacefully on January 23rd, 2025, with his family by his side. Born in North Charleroi on March 30th, 1944, Lewis was the son of the late Harry and Julia (D’Orazio) Guidetti.

 A graduate of Mon Valley Catholic High School class of 1962. Lewis continued his education at California State College before serving his country honorably in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. After his service to our country Lewis attended ICM where he received his diploma in computer science. He then taught at ICM before working for UPMC as a computer programmer until his retirement. Lewis enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and will be deeply missed.

 Surviving to cherish Lewis’s memory; his sister Rosemary (Brian) Reinhardt, and his brother Don Guidette. His nephew Brian (Svetlana) Reinhardt and his niece Gina (Chris) Sylvester. A great-niece Julia Sylvester and his two great-nephews Aiden and Max Reinhardt along with numerous cousins.

Lewis is preceded in death by his parents Harry and Julia Guidetti.

Per Lewis’s wishes there will be no public visitation and celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hogan-Melenyzer Funeral Home and Cremation Services  Inc., 226 Fallowfield Avenue Charleroi Pa 15022.
