Linda W. Farquhar

Linda W. Farquhar, 84, of Stockdale, went to be with the Lord on April, 28th, 2026 at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. Linda was born on June 24th, 1941 to the late Samuel and Margaret (Hough) Wick.

Linda graduated from Charleroi Area High School class of 1959. Following high school Linda married Russell Farquhar on March 4th, 1962 and they would go on to make a beautiful home and raise two daughters.

Linda was a member of the Mon Valley Jednota and affiliated with numerous card clubs. Linda will be remembered as a loving grandmother who adored and loved her grandchildren, her family, her dearest friends and her beloved cats.

Surviving to cherish Linda’s memory; her daughters Marna (Douglas) Prentice and Cheryl (Calvin) Miller. Her grandchildren, Douglas (Lacey) Prentice, Matthew (Megan) Prentice and Joshua Miller. Her great-grandchildren Zander Rhome, Ryder Rhome and Cole Prentice and Owen Prentice. Her brother-in-law Wayne Farquhar and sister-in-law Lily Farquhar and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her beloved husband Russell Farquhar who passed away on September 20th, 2004 and her sisters Ruth Telegraphis and Rida Grandy.

Friends and family will be received from 2:00 to 7:00pm, at which time the Funeral Service will be held inside the funeral home on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022.
