Louise Faye Davis

Louise Faye Davis, 84, of Charleroi, passed away peacefully at home with her  family by her side on January 5th, 2026. Faye was born on January 30th, 1941 in Brownsville, to the late Clarence and Eleanor (Brewer) LaRew. 

Faye worked as a Surgeon Assistant at Monongahela Valley Hospital for over 40 years until her retirement. She stayed active in retirement working for numerous nursing homes and as an aid for elderly neighbors. She was a member of the Charleroi Russian Club and the American Legion - Charleroi Post 22. Faye enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and was the host of numerous holidays. She was a dog lover and was a very outgoing person who made everyone feel like a member of the family. She enjoyed long road trips and spending time with her family, who she loved with all her heart.

Surviving to cherish Faye’s memory; her grandchildren, Matthew (fiancé Ashley) Davis, Brandon Pergola, and Josh (fiancé Rosalyn) Davis. Her great-grandchildren Aiden and Dean Pergola, and Freya Weaver, sisters, Joanne Belle LaRew, Edna Carol LaRew, Linda Gale LaRew (Johnson), and Darla Jean Crawl. Her stepchildren Janet and Susie and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.  

In addition to her parents Faye is preceded in death by her husband Harold Davis, son Duaine Davis and her brother-in-law Russel Davis. 

Friends and family will be received from 10:00am to 2:00pm on Friday, Jan, 9th 2026, at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022. Funeral services will begin at 2:00pm on Friday, Jan, 9th 2026, in the funeral home. Interment will be held in the Monongahela Cemetery.
