Marianne O'Neil

Marianne O’Neil, 78, of Charleroi, passed away peacefully at home on December 10th, 2022, with her loving family by her side. Born in North Charleroi on November 14th, 1944, Marianne was the daughter of late William and Annabelle (Plens) Peck.

Marianne was a big fan of playing bingo, loved going to the casinos and playing the lottery. She was most loving mother, grandmother and the best great-grandmother, “Nana”, to all her grandchildren.

 Surviving to cherish Marianne’s memory; her brother Terry Peck, her daughters, Sheila (Mark Coleman) Cook, Amber (Andrew) Akers, Tammy O’Neil, and Jimsette O’Neil and her son Joseph (Mona) Osborne. Her grandchildren Matthew (Jamie) Cook and Leanne (Kendall) Cook, her great-grandchildren Jada, Jesalyn, and Jaiden Arnold.

In addition to her parents, Marianne is also preceded in death by her husband James A. O’Neil, and her brother William Peck.

Friends and family will be received from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm on Wednesday, December 14th, 2022 at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Avenue, Charleroi, Pa 15022. Funeral service will be held inside the funeral home on Thursday, December 15th, 2022 at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Mon Valley Memorial Park.
