Mary Rosick Crum, 59, of Wheeling, WV went home to her Lord on Saturday, July 3, 2021, holding her husband’s hand and surrounded by family. Born on May 27, 1962, in Charleroi, she was the daughter of John C. Rosick, Sr. and the late Mary L. Krupka Rosick.
Mary graduated from Charleroi High School in 1980 and continued her education with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in civil engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 1985 graduating summa cum laude. She began her career at Michael Baker International where she was loved by many who became lifelong friends and where she advanced to her most recent position as Associate Vice President.
Mary lived her Catholic faith daily with caring, compassion, humility, and love. She lived life to the fullest with baking, gardening, biking, kayaking, tennis, skiing, and a passion that she enjoyed the most; spoiling her nieces and nephews.
In addition to her dad, Mary is survived by her beloved husband Dr. Edward W. Crum; stepchildren Alex Crum of Morgantown, WV; and Chelsea Crum of Wheeling, WV; brothers, James Rosick, and wife, Debora, of Round Hill, VA, and Richard Rosick, and wife, Christine of Fallowfield Twp, PA; sisters, Lynda Misra, of Upper St. Clair, and Kathleen Chaudhari, and husband, Atul, of Peters Twp.; nieces and nephews, Aaron, Cole, and Olivia Rosick, Nikhil and Angelina Misra, and Sarah, Samantha, Ian, and Anna Chaudhari; her Aunt Irene Kristakis and husband, John, of Dormont, PA, and numerous cousins.
In addition to her mother, she is predeceased by her brother, John C. Rosick, Jr, Aunt Jean Magiske; and nephew, Deven Chaudhari.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6, in the SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC. 226 Fallowfield Avenue, Charleroi, PA. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 7, at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, 624 Washington Avenue, Charleroi, celebrated by Rev. Kevin Dominik. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
