Michael Paul Sezawich Jr., 77, of Charleroi, passed away after a long battle with cancer on March 13th, 2026 at home surrounded by his loving family. Michael was born in North Charleroi on April 7th, 1948 to the late Michael Paul Sr. and Ethel Catherine (Lovering) Sezawich.
Following high school, Michael served honorably in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Michael was a member of the American Legion – Charleroi Post 22 and a member of A.B.A.T.E. (Alliance of Bikers Aimed Toward Education). He loved watching football, especially the Pittsburgh Steeler’s, and watching boxing. Michael enjoyed spending time outdoors and going hunting and fishing with his brother John. Michael loved spending his time with his family and friends those of whom will miss him dearly.
Surviving to cherish Michael’s memory; his son Michael (Anna Palcic) John Sezawich, his daughters Tierza Sezawich, Amber Consonery, and Amanda Consonery and his granddaughters Quin and Talisyn Sezawich. Michael’s brother, John (Christine) Sezawich and his sister Patricia (Gene) Robinson and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Michael is preceded in death by his beloved wife Michelle Sezawich and his son David Consonery.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, March 25th, 2026 for a Memorial Service with Military Funeral Honors starting at 11:00a.m., doors will open at 10:00a.m. at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses.
