Nellie Hotochin Obituary

 

Nellie L. Hotochin,  91 of North Charleroi, passed  away Sunday, February 18, 2018 in South Hill Rehabilitations and Wellness Center in  Canonsburg.  Mrs. Hotochin was born May 8, 1926 in Manown , Pa ( Allegheny Co.) The daughter of the late Thomas and Luella Porter  Nagy.   Mrs. Hotochin was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church Parish in Charleroi.  She was avid Pittsburgh Steeler Fan and loved to crochet.   She is survived by her son George T. “Corko” Hotochin and his wife Fran of Fallowfield Twp., two granddaughters Dana Corrin and her husband Brian of Fallowfield Twp., and Megan Swan and her  husband Keith of Carroll Twp; two great grandsons  Jacob Corrin and Ethan Swan. Also surviving several nieces  and nephews.  In addition to her parents Nellie is preceded in death by her husband George “Corky” E. Hotochin who passed on November 27, 2016. Brother Thomas Nagy and sister June Pro.   A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am in Mary, Mother of the Church, 7th and Washington Ave., Charleroi celebrated by the Rev. Gerald Mikonis.  Family and friends attending the funeral mass are being asked to go directly to the church.  Entombment will follow in sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Twp.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.schrock-hogan.com
