Norma Jean Stack

 Norma Jean Stack, 83, passed away on Monday, October 29th at Artis Senior Living Center in Mason, Ohio. She was born on February 22nd, 1935 in Donora, PA the daughter of Frank Stech and Etta (Ludwig) Stech. After marrying her husband they moved to Speers Hill in Charleroi, PA. She was actively involved in her community, participating in Civic Club, Card Club, Rosary Bead Group and Silver Sneakers Exercise Group. She was also a devoted Catholic and attended St. Mary of the Mother Church, and took communion to those who were not able to attend. She worked at Charland Sports Wear in Speers as she raised her son and daughter. She is survived by her daughter Barbara Grimes, son-in-law Joseph A. Grimes, grandchildren Brianna and Joseph E. Grimes, and beloved daughter-in-law Mary Ann Stack. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother John "Jack" Stech, son James Stack, and husband Edward Stack. Friends will be received Thursday, November 1st from 4 to 8pm in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Father Kevin Dominik at Mary, Mother of the Church, 7th & Washington Ave., Charleroi on Friday, November 2nd at 10 am.
