Patricia Ann Strahosky

Patricia Ann Strahosky, 73, of Portland, Oregon, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 17, 2022. Born Nov. 24, 1948, in Charleroi, Patricia was the daughter of the late Boris and Anna Gretch Strahosky. Patricia was a devout Catholic and a member of Saint Therese Church in Portland, Ore. She had an associate degree in secretarial science at Robert Morris University. At Robert Morris she was awarded the super shorthand recorder at 140 words per minute. She was also a member of the Alpha Iota sorority and Phi Beta Kappa chapters. She worked for Arthur Anderson as an office administrator and later at KPMG as an executive administrator for the SALT tax practice. Patricia loved her long walks with her dogs and spending time with her family and grandkids, whom she loved the most. Surviving to cherish Patricia’s memory are her daughters, Amy Schettini of Gresham, Ore., and Susan Schettini of Portland, Ore.; her sons, Brian Schettini of Portland, Ore., and Eric Schettini of Happy Valley, Ore.; and her six grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Gino Schettini. Friends and family will be received from noon to 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022, at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, Charleroi Site, Seventh Street and Washington Avenue, Charleroi. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family recommended donations to one of these organizations in Patricia’s memory: American Red Cross, Salvation Army, Shriners Hospital, St. Jude’s, Union Gospel, NAMI, Doctors Without Borders and Food for the Poor.
