Ralph “Butch” Yakich, 71, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2019 at the Southwestern Healthcare Center in West Mifflin. Ralph was born in N. Charleroi, on April 4th, 1948, the son of the late Ralph and Ann (Suchy) Yakich. Butch was an avid sports fan of the Pirates, Steelers and many Pittsburgh area teams. He also had a love for bingo and scratch-off lottery tickets. Butch is survived by his Nephew Michael (Susan) Mammarella of Upper St. Clair (and their daughters Angelina and Katryna Mammarella), Niece Kim (Andrew) Oswald of Upper St. Clair, Cousin Lori (Joseph) Caton and their daughter Brianna Caton of Roscoe. In addition to his parents, Butch is preceded in death by his sister Geraldine, brother-in-law Ike Mammarella and his brother Thomas Yakich. The family would like to especially thank the staff at Southwestern Healthcare Center for all their love and care they gave Butch during his time there. A memorial service, along with internment will be held at Mon-Valley Memorial Park on Tuesday May 07, 2019 at 12:30.
