Ruth Ann Furjanic

Ruth Ann Furjanic, 87, of Charleroi, passed away peacefully on October 12th, 2024. Born in West Newton on June 14th, 1937, Ruth was the daughter of the late Anthony and Margaret (Morrison) Lucovitz.

A member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Monessen, Ruth was an avid Pirates fan and enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She enjoyed Polka dancing and spending time with her family, whom she loved dearly.

Surviving to cherish Ruth’s memory; her son Joseph and his wife Sue Furjanic, granddaughter Jessica and her husband Ilario Silla, grandson Ernie Merritt and her great-granddaughter Gina Silla.

In addition to her parents Ruth is preceded in death by her son Mark Furjanic.

Friends and family will be received from 1:00 to 3:00pm and 5:00 to 7:00pm on Thursday, October 17th, 2024 at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022. Funeral service will be held inside the funeral home at 7:00pm on Thursday, October 17th, 2024. Interment will be held privately at Mon Valley Memorial Park.
