Sheila Elaine Reabe

Sheila Elaine Reabe, 58, of Charleroi, passed away unexpectedly on September 9th, 2024. Born in North Charleroi on March 17th, 1966, Sheila was the daughter of the late Howard E. Reabe and Eleanor Marie Cekus, whom survives.

Sheila enjoyed volunteering for the Salvation Army, loved Snoopy from the show “Peanuts”, spending time with her beloved cats “Snoopy” and “Angel” and her three (3) favorite holidays Saint Patrick's Day, Christmas and Halloween. Sheila also loved rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers and will be remembered by many for her delicate care as a nursing home caretaker for several years.

Surviving to cherish Sheila’s memory; her mother Eleanor Kenny, stepfather Norman Kenny, her sister Debbie Reabe, her brother David Reabe, her aunts Judith Lynn Zewe, Martha Ellen Mulholland, and Mary Gallagher, her cousin April Ronick Wokaly and cousin-in-law Dedra Fritch, and her numerous cousins.

In addition to her father, Shelia is preceded in death by her brother Jon Brandon, paternal grandmother Helen Kollessar Reabe, maternal grandfather Bill Cekus, her maternal grandmother Sue Pachuta Cekus, grandparents Norman Sr. and Martha Kenny. Two aunts Betty Cekus Ronick and Evelyn Cekus Martin, uncle Dennis Zewe and cousins Donna Zewe and William Fritch.

Friends and family will be received from 6:00 to 8:00p.m. on Tuesday, September 17th, 2024 at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022. A Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday, September 18th, 2024 inside the funeral home at 10:00a.m. Interment will follow at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
