Susan Marie Rood

Susan Marie Rood, 70, of Dunlvey, passed away peacefully in her home on January 17, 2022. The daughter of the late R. Henry and Shirley (Hobaugh) Stitt, Susan was born on January 23, 1951 in Ford City.

Susan will be remembered for her contagious laugh and sense of humor. Her life revolved around her family, she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

 Surviving to cherish Susan’s memory; her daughter Heather Sue Rood Skobel and her husband, Chris, daughter Julie Ann Rood Leo and her husband, Salvatore. Her five grandchildren, Mackenzie, Bella and Emma Skobel and Madilyn and Sammy Leo.

Susan is preceded in death by her parents.
