Virginia Grace Persuda

Virginia Grace Persuda, 90, of Caldwell W.V., formerly of Charleroi, went to be with the Lord on October 3, 2023. Born in Charleroi on July 28, 1933, Virginia was the daughter of the late Louis and Evelyn (Brand) Paoly.

Catholic by faith; Virginia was a former member of Saint Andrew the Apostle – Charleroi Site (formerly known as Mary Mother of the Church).

Surviving to cherish Virginia’s memory; her daughters Diane (Walter) Sheffler of Latrobe and Janet (Kenneth) Miller of Caldwell, W.V. Her grandchildren, Brandon Sheffler, Heather (Cody) McMaster, Desiree Sheffler, Sarah Miller, Adam Miller, and Andrea Miller.

In addition to her parents, Virginia is preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert Persuda, her brother Edward Paoly, and her infant great-grandson Theo McMaster.

Friends and family will be received from 10:00 to 11:30am on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at NOON on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Saint Andrew the Apostle – Charleroi Site, 624 Washington Avenue. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela.
