William E. Hisiro

William E. Hisiro, 75, of Speers, passed away peacefully on August 6th, 2023, in the Concordia Donnell House. Born in North Charleroi, on May 15th, 1948, Bill was the son of the late William Hisiro and his mother Helen Herent Hisiro who survives.

Bill graduated from Charleroi Highschool class of 1966, following high school he served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a brakeman for the railroad for over 30 years until his retirement.  A member of the Charleroi American Legion Post 22, Bill enjoyed his retirement watching scary movies, westerns and reading Stephen King novels. His sense of humor was always on display, especially while watching his beloved Steelers, Penguins and Pirates with his friend and brother-in-law Ozzie.

Surviving to cherish Bill's memory; his mother Helen Herent Hisiro, whom he loved dearly. His daughter Zoe Gaussoin and her mother Sally. Two grandsons; Devin and Hunter Evans. His sister Karen (Ozzie) Gavazzi. Nephews Brian Gavazzi and Justin (Emily) Gavazzi and numerous cousins.

Bill is preceded in death by his father William Hisiro.

Friends and family will be received at the Hogan Melenyzer Funeral Home at 226 Fallowfield Ave, Charleroi, PA 15022 on Wednesday, August 9th from 10:00 am to 11:00am, at which time funeral services will be held. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
