William H. Gillingham Jr.

William H. Gillingham Jr. 92, of Speers Hill passed away on February 15, 2020 at Jefferson Hills Manor. Bill was born on August 1, 1927 in Jefferson Twp., the son of the late William H. Sr. and Sarah (Ackinclose) Gillingham.

Following his graduation from Charleroi High School, Bill served his country honorably in    the United States Navy in the South Pacific and Japan during WWII. Bill would go into business for himself and was the owner operator of Gillingham Amoco Station in Charleroi for many years.

William is survived by his son William H. Gillingham III of Speers, grandchild Chastity Ednar, four great-grandchildren and niece Kris Kelly of Masontown.

In addition to his parents Bill is preceded in death by his brother Donald Gillingham and sister Lois Gillingham.
