William David Valla

William David Valla, 57, of Coal Center, passed away on April 7th, 2020 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Bill was born on July 8th, 1962 in North Charleroi, the son of the late William & Martha (Yuschak) Valla. William Graduated from Charleroi High school class of 1980, following high school he enlisted in the United States Army where he served his country honorably. Bill enjoyed spending time outdoors, he was an avid, hunter, fisherman and enjoyed boating with his wife Brenda.

William is survived by his wife Brenda (Sloan) Valla; daughter Rachael (James) Blankenship of Pittsburgh; Brother Joseph (Mary) of North Charleroi; grandchildren Madison and Austin Blankenship and numerous nieces and nephews.    

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, services will be private for the immediate family only.  Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Arrangements were entrusted to the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be sent to the American Cancer Society in Bill’s name.
