Our deepest sympathy to the Don, David and Family. Don was a wonderful man and will be missed by all who knew him. I so enjoyed visiting him at his office to discuss current affairs and the stock market. He will be looking down on you all with his beloved Betty at his side. Don was an inspirational and uplifting man. He was a great asset to the community. His positive energy and thoughtfulness made him a great roll model. He will be remembered as one of the outstanding members of the "golden-age" of the Magic City. I am honored to have known him and benefited from his wisdom.

My sympathy goes out to the family of Mr Rushak. I had him for a History class, study hall in Jr High, always a very encouraging teacher, upbeat, such a good mentor. I'm sure he will be missed, and remembered fondly by many. I am very happy to have known him.

Don's family, so sad to hear of his passing. "To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord." Don was a great man. I loved talking to him.
He was so kind, interesting, caring, and willing to help in any way.
You'll rest and know he is at peace with his LORD and wife, Betty.
Much love,
Pearl (Tirpak) Smedley

Dunno:
It seems like just yesterday that we would hang out at Jimmie's Shoe shine.
I remember the Blue Goose club, the lodge we were going to build and how so devoted you were to the project. How gracious you and Betty were at all the reunions, and in Florida too. Now it is over my friend
and we will miss you very much. Our deepest condolences to your family

Donald, David and Families, your dad was one of the kindest people I knew in Charleroi. He always had a smile for everyone and he never missed a chance to say hello to those that passed by him on the street. I am so sorry for your loss. May God carry you through the following days and find comfort in God's hands

Mr.Ruschak made an everlasting impression and impact on me as a child and thorough my adolescence. I lived just a few doors away from the Ruschak's and they always so graciously treated me like family. Many times I would have missed a meal if not for their kindness. They invited into their home and on family outings where I learned so much from them by example. I never heard Mr. Ruschak have a negative comment. His compassion, optimism and love for his family and community inspired the less fortunate and set an example for so many to follow. God Bless you as you grieve your loss and may it be lessened by the knowledge of the enormous impact that he made during his incredible lifetime.

Much like Paul, Mr. Ruschak is a part of who I am. Always a caring father figure to any of the neighborhood crew that ended up at their home. If you were to look up "positive role model" you would no doubt see his picture! I was saddened to learn of his passing and will always remember him for the things I learned by having the privilege to have spend time with him and his family. Don & Dave, you and your families have my deepest sympathies as we have all lost a great friend and neighborhood 'dad' but you have lost so much more.

I just learned of your fathers passing and it made me so sad. Your father was a man of honor and grace. I first met him in English class as my teacher .. his words and presence was one that I will never forget.. Please know how sorry I am for your loss and he will be in my thoughts and prayers for the rest of my life. I am sure he is smiling down on all of you with your mother holding his hand smiling also.
